FAQ

Yacht & Charter Photography FAQ

Not answered here? Get in touch and we'll respond same‑day.

Do we need to take the vessel out on the water?

No — dockside sessions are standard for the Essential and Signature packages. On-the-water running shots and underway photography can be added to any package and are scoped at booking based on the vessel, crew requirements, and marina logistics.

Do you have drone certification for marine photography?

Yes. All aerial drone photography is flown under FAA Part 107 commercial certification with full liability insurance. We're experienced flying over water in South Florida's busy marine corridors.

What size vessels do you photograph?

All sizes — from day boats and center consoles to 100+ foot superyachts. The Essential package is specifically priced for vessels under 35 ft; larger vessels are scoped and priced accordingly under the Signature and Full Production tiers.

Can you photograph a vessel at sea or underway?

Yes. Underway photography — on-water running shots, wake shots, aerial footage while the vessel is moving — can be added to the Signature and Full Production packages. This requires advance coordination with the captain and crew and is scoped at booking.

How do you handle marina access and logistics?

We coordinate directly with the marina or club for access, photography permits where required, and electrical connections where applicable. Marina transit time is included in session hours for Essential and Signature packages.
