Architecture Photography
Publication-grade architecture and interior photography for design firms, developers, and award submissions. Philippe Lasry captures the architect's intent: the spatial logic, material craft, and choreography of light that turns a finished building into a portfolio piece, a magazine feature, and an award-winning project.

Architecture Photography Built for Design Portfolios & Awards
Architecture photography is the cornerstone of our practice. Since 2008, Philippe Lasry has photographed completed projects for architecture firms, interior designers, and developers across South Florida and beyond, from LEED-certified corporate headquarters and boutique hospitality venues to award-winning single-family residences on the Venetian Islands. The work is built for monographs, AIA award submissions, design press, and the firm portfolios that win the next commission.
Our approach combines the technical precision of commercial imaging with the narrative sensibility of editorial storytelling. We don't just document buildings; we reveal the architect's intent, the way mass meets light, the relationship between an interior detail and the larger spatial gesture. That is the difference between a photograph that fills a portfolio slot and one that gets a project published in Architectural Record, Dezeen, or Interior Design.
Every architecture shoot begins with a thorough understanding of the design language, target publications, and submission criteria. We study floor plans, elevation drawings, and material specifications before arriving on site. We track how natural light moves through the space throughout the day, then build a multi-strobe lighting plan and shot list that systematically captures each room (exterior, interior, detail, and twilight) at its absolute best. Aerial perspectives, captured with our FAA Part 107 drone program, give the building its full architectural context where the brief calls for it.

Architecture Photography Specializations

Design Firm & Architect Portfolios
Comprehensive coverage of completed buildings for architecture firms, interior designers, and landscape architects. Built around the project's design narrative (from establishing exterior to material details) and delivered in the formats publications and award juries expect.

Commercial & Corporate Interiors
Office buildings, headquarters, retail environments, medical facilities, educational institutions, and adaptive reuse projects. We capture the design intent and brand experience of commercial space: for design portfolios, lease-up marketing, company websites, and industry awards.

Hospitality & Cultural Architecture
Hotels, restaurants, members-only clubs, museums, and cultural institutions photographed as architecture: focused on the building, the rooms, the public realm, and the materiality that defines the project's design point of view.

Construction Progress & Topping-Out
Systematic progress photography for active construction sites, from groundbreaking through topping out and final completion. Monthly or milestone-based documentation provides architects, owners, lenders, and marketing teams with a professional visual record of the build.
Our Technical Approach to Architecture Photography
The quality difference between professional architecture photography and casual documentation comes down to three factors: lighting, perspective control, and post-production precision.

Multi-Strobe Interior Lighting
We use a combination of studio strobes, hot lights, and ambient light balancing to create images with full tonal range and natural-looking illumination. Each room receives a custom lighting setup, often combining 4-8 individual light sources to build the final exposure.

Perspective Control & Composition
Architectural photography demands absolute precision in vertical and horizontal alignment. We use professional tilt-shift lenses to correct perspective distortion in-camera, supplemented by software-based geometric correction in post-production.

Post-Production & Color Science
Our post-production pipeline goes far beyond basic editing. Each image receives RAW file optimization, lens distortion correction, precise white balance calibration, perspective correction, selective exposure blending, and final sharpening for each delivery format.
